Students research cutting-edge solar technologies and create an engaging educational video—produced in both English and Arabic—that explains their applications, pros and cons, efficiency, cost, and scalability.
In this media-driven STEAM project, students dive into the world of advanced solar energy technologies, exploring the innovations shaping the future of clean power. They begin by researching various cutting-edge solutions—such as perovskite solar cells, bifacial panels, solar tiles, concentrated solar power (CSP), and transparent solar panels—collecting detailed insights about their applications, efficiencies, costs, advantages, and limitations. Once the research is complete, students synthesize the content and craft a clear, exciting storyboard for an educational video. The final product is produced in two languages (English and Arabic) with different voiceovers, making the content inclusive and accessible. Students apply storytelling, visual communication, and technical knowledge to present a well-organized, visually rich video that informs and inspires. Through this project, they build strong research, presentation, and media production skills while learning how solar innovation transforms the world.
